Description

A play written in 1831 based on the story of the past life of the Buddha as Prince Mahasattva who feeds his flesh to save a starving tigress. It was first performed in Kathmandu in Nepal Sambat 951 (1831) by Ratna Muni Shakya Bhikshu and company. The original manuscript was typeset and published by Mandas Sugatdas, Kantipur in 1967.
