The book was translated from the Russian by Alexander Repyev and was first published by Mir in 1985.[The aim of the book] is to acquaint children in exciting and stimulating way with some of principle concepts of geometry, to teach them how to find bearings in simple geometrical situations and to discern geometrical patterns in the world around them.
